Health and Safety Office Induction
Some employers or senior management may be tempted to exclude coverage of the issues such as Work at Height and Manual Handling as they can be perceived to be 'not office related'...
However, the key is to
appropriately cover these issues for the office environment. e.g. a person standing on a work chair is considered 'working at height' and a person unloading a delivery of office stationery can be Manual Handling.
It is important that employers provide the appropriate information, instruction and training to a level that is suitable and sufficient for the level of risk.
